After releasing the very delicate and tiny Pocket Projector on the market not so long ago, folks at Beambox decided to impress their audience one more time and unveil the new Evolution R-1. They’ve lost the „delicate” along the way but they kept the „tiny” so we’re still ok.

The Evolution R-1 uses a LcoS chip and offers a VGA (640 x 480) resolution, 30 lumens of brightness, a 200:1 contrast ratio and the ability to project a 100-inch image. Also, the device also features a microSD slot and 4GB of onboard Flash memory.

The R-1 will be available in white, black, silver and red color versions starting March 20th with a £250 ($360) price tag.
