MSI presented today at CeBIT their amazing Winki instant-on OS.

According to the manufacturer this is way better than the HyperSpace instant-on OS not to mention that it’s very founded to Linux. For the time being the Winki will only work with desktop. This tiny module will plug straight into the MSI motherboard and voila! Here you have it, your new instant-on OS that offers quick access to web, Skype and IM.

At first, Winki will only bundle with a few motherboard models but in time if everything goes according to plan it will spread its tentacles over the entire mobo line.
